I was recently asked to design some wedding invites for a couple. I just love starting a new design and trying to figure out what will work best for the couple.
The bride-to-be told me that she wanted traditional fall colors with a little bit of a purple accent. I got to work and came up with a couple ideas…
Above is the first idea with a large “W”…. pretty simple and just a smidge of purple.
This is the second idea….very similar to the first, but a vine image rather than the “W”.
The couple loved both the ideas, but I decided I also wanted to send another idea that was a bit different and a little more formal. This is what I came up with next…
They loved the idea! But, the bride-to-be thought the belly band was a little too large and she wanted a strip of purple with it. So I revised a little more and came up with this…
It was perfect! Now, just add the response card and we were all set….
So what do you think??
I personally think they turned out really nice. I love working with a couple that is so open to new ideas and trying a couple different things.
