I just love Thanksgiving and I think this homemade invitation fits perfectly with the idea of my particular Thanksgiving celebration…it’s unique text styles are symbolic of different styles of people in my family all coming together to celebrate one great day!
This invitation has a more modern design with traditional touches as well, such as the maple leaves and beautiful fall colors.
Not only is this invitation beautiful, but it’s also pretty simple to make!
You can follow the tutorial below or make it even easier and contact me to make them for you! Place a custom order today and they can be shipped out in no time! What can be better than sending out beautiful handmade invitations for a beautiful Thanksgiving celebration??
If you want to make this invitation yourself, begin by cutting the brown cardstock to a size of 5-1/2″ x 7-1/4″. I love using my X-acto Paper Trimmer for this! It works perfect and has for years!
Next, you will need to create a text layout. I like to use my Word program or a printshop program. Using different fonts, create the beginning wording. I also used different ink colors to add even more visual interest.
Once you have a good text layout, print it on the white cardstock. Cut that piece to a size of 5-1/4″x 7″.
Next, using the maple leaf punch, cut several different leaves from the different colored papers.
Arrange the leaves on the white cardstock however you think they look best. Use the mounting squares to adhere them the cardstock.
Finally attach the white cardstock to the brown cardstock.
Another simple, sophisticated Thanksgiving invitation design! Don’t you just love it!
Happy Thanksgiving!!
