Fun Halloween Invitation Ideas

Supply List…

I just love a really cute, fun invitation!  This homemade Halloween invitation definitely fits that description!

This little wacky spider drops right in to invite your guests to a great Halloween party!

You can read the tutorial below to find out how to make this on your own, or you can contact me and I can make them for you!  We now take custom invitation orders!  Just email me or comment on my contact page and I will get in touch with you!  Contact me soon for delivery in time to invite guests to your monster mash!

To make this invitation, start by cutting the purple cardstock down to a size of 5-1/2″x 8-1/2″ using a paper cutter.  I love using my Exacto Paper Trimmer…works great and I’ve had it for years!!  I’d definitely recommend it!

Next, cut the orange cardstock to a size of 5″x 8″.

The next step is to design a text layout.  I liked the look of a slightly off center title block with the main information being in the lower right corner.  I also used a fancier font for the event name and the residence name.  I also highlighted them by printing in an orange ink.

Once you have a layout, print on the white cardstock.  Cut that to a size of 4-3/4″x 7-3/4″.

Next, cut an imperfect circle from the black fabric or felt.  Using a sewing machine, sew an cute smile on the spider.  Attach the buttons either by sewing them on or using a mounting square.

Attach the spider to the white cardstock using mounting squares.  Draw on the legs and a string.

Attach all the layers together using mounting squares.  Be sure to keep all the layers centered!

Finished…it’s so simple, but so cute!!

Remember, I’d love to help you out…contact me to place a custom order!  Hurry to ensure delivery in time for your Halloween party!
