Halloween Invite Ideas

Supply List…

I’ve been having so much fun this week designing new ideas for Halloween parties!  I just love this time of the year, when it starts to get a little chillier and the leaves start turning!

My kids and I just harvested 4 pumpkins from our pumpkin garden yesterday!  They were so excited!

It’s definitely time to start thinking about that fun Halloween party you’re planning for the end of October!

Why not start by making a super cute, but super easy invitation?!

If you like this one, read on to follow the tutorial.  But, if you just don’t have the time to make it but love the idea, contact us and we can make them for you!  We specialize in beautiful, handmade invitations customized just for you!  We look forward to hearing from you!

To make this invitation at home, start by using your Exacto Paper Trimmer and cut the purple cardstock to a size of 5″x 7″.  Next, using the paper cutter, cut the orange cardstock to a size of 4-1/2″x 6-1/2″.

The next step is to create a text layout.  You can do this by using a printshop program or Word program.  Decide on the wording you want to use.  Be sure to copy and paste to two places on the page so you get two text sheets per one sheet of paper.

Test print your text to see if the layout will work.  If it does, print your final text on the translucent paper.

Cut the translucent paper down to a size of 3-3/4″x 5-3/4″.

Next, using a paper punch, punch two holes in the center near the top about 1/2″ apart through the orange and translucent papers.

Using a black satin ribbon that is 1-3/8″ wide, carefully thread the ribbon from the front to the back and back up through the front to create the “bat”.  Cut the “wings” on a slight wavy angle.

Decorate with self-adhesive mini googly eyes.

That’s it!  It’s so easy and turns out so cute!

Remember, I can make them for you!!  Just contact me by email or my custom orders page to place an order!  They only cost $1.90 per invitation for quantities up to 24.  And they come with envelopes!!  All you have to do is mail them!  We look forward to hearing from you!
