Here’s another invitation for my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving!
This simple, sophisticated design will fit anyone’s theme for Thanksgiving this year and is easily customizable just by changing the ribbon and cardstock colors!
To make this invitation, just follow the tutorial below, or make it even easier on yourself and contact me so I can make them for you! Contact me soon for delivery in time to send out for Thanksgiving!
If you’d like to make this yourself, begin by cutting the green cardstock to a size of 6-1/4″x 6-1/4″. I love to use my X-acto Paper Trimmer…a perfect cut everytime!!
The next step is to create a text layout. I like to use my Word program or any printshop program. For this invitation, I used a simple cursive for the words “Let’s Give Thanks” and then an all-caps print for the rest of the information.
I also printed the font in a dark brown font so it would blend well with the overall color scheme.
After you print your text layout on the cream cardstock, cut it to a size of 5-1/2″x 5-1/2″.
Cut a length of the ribbon. Wrap it around the left side of the cream cardstock and attach it on the backside.
Now just attach the cream cardstock to the green cardstock using the mounting squares and you’re finished!
So elegant and simple…perfect for Thanksgiving!
Here are a couple other things you may need for your Thanksgiving dinner…
